Big Sky Datacenter

According to Big Sky Digital Infrastructure’s FAQ, Quantica Infrastructure is planning a 5,100-acre energy and digital infrastructure campus in Yellowstone County, approximately 3.5 miles outside Broadview and 30 miles north of Billings. The proposed campus would support up to 1,100 megawatts of demand, using new renewable generation, energy storage and potentially natural gas. Quantica says it would fund the power generation and grid upgrades required by the project. The company proposes closed-loop cooling, estimating about 20,000 gallons of water per day during operations and up to 150,000 gallons per day during peak construction, drawn from the deep Madison Aquifer. Quantica projects local construction and permanent employment, property-tax revenue and infrastructure investment, while acknowledging temporary construction traffic and other community effects. Many design, power and permitting details remain under evaluation. [Read the Big Sky Digital FAQ](https://bigskydigitalinfra.com/faq/)
